What does the music of Richard Marx tell us about ourselves, collectively as humans? What were we thinking during the early 1990’s? How in the hell could someone such as Richard Noel Marx produce enough ‘hits’ to complete a greatest hits collection? How could this possibly pass as popular music, I mean, how could it have been popular? Did we really put up with this shit for the better part of a decade? Boy, were we a sick bunch.
